Dr. Maria Czarina Acelajado (known to her patients as Dr. A) is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, and Obesity Medicine, serving the Athens, AL community since 2016. She is known not only for her medical expertise but for her thoughtful, attentive care. Patients often describe her as someone who truly listens taking the time to understand their concerns and partnering with them on a path to better health.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Dr. A has pursued advanced training across the country in Aesthetic Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery – further demonstrating her dedication to staying at the forefront of advancements in aesthetic care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. A brings the same dedication to her personal well-being. She enjoys Pilates, hiking, and traveling, and she treasures time with her family and their three beloved rescue dogs. Friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in the lives of her patients, Dr. A is someone people not only trust but are glad to know.
Sarah is a dedicated and experienced nurse with over 17 years in the healthcare field. She earned her nursing degree from the University of North Alabama and has since built a career defined by compassion, skill, and a deep commitment to patient care.
Outside of work, Sarah is a proud wife and mother of three. She loves to travel and discover new places especially those with great food. At home, she finds joy in the simple things: spending time with her family and tending to her garden. Her warmth and attention to detail are reflected in every part of her life, including the care she brings to her patients.
Kristen is a licensed esthetician who studied at the European School of Esthetics. She has a deep passion for skincare and helping others feel confident in their own skin. Outside the treatment room, she’s a devoted wife and proud mom of three. She enjoys spending time with her family, caring for their mini farm, going to the gym, and attending church.
Kristen believes her work is a calling, and she trusts that God is guiding each step of her journey.
