Dr. Maria Czarina Acelajado (we call her Dr. A) is a board-certified Internal Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, and Obesity Medicine physician who has been practicing in Athens, AL since 2016. Her patients know Dr. A to be a great listener who always strives to provide quality and comprehensive care, with a proactive approach. She brought her passion for excellence when she ventured into Aesthetic Medicine – she is board certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and has completed multiple trainings around the country to bring the latest and the best in this field to North Alabama. Dr. A is an avid cyclist and is an active member of the Rocket City Cycle Belles in Huntsville. When she is not working or riding her bike, she loves to travel and spend time with her family and their 3 dogs (all rescues!).
